Laura Madsen is author of the books, Healthcare Business Intelligence: A Guide to Empowering Successful Data Reporting and Analytics (Wiley, 2012) & Data Driven Healthcare: How Analytics & BI are Transforming the Industry (Wiley, 2014).  Laura has more than 15 years of experience in BI and data warehousing for healthcare as well as a passion for engaging and educating the BI community.  Laura leads the Enterprise Analytics Team at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota where she is charged with creating a data-driven healthcare organization.
