Deep Dive AutoInsights
AutoInsights isn’t necessarily new. The expert systems of the 1980s anticipated some of the features and capabilities we today associate with AutoInsights, especially the use of intelligent features to “guide” the user’s interaction with a dataset. But the commodity availability of AI-like technologies is new. Moreover, commodity AI in the form of AutoInsights is everywhere: most BI and analytics products now expose AutoInsights capabilities of one kind or another.
This “Deep Dive” report will profile three products that each takes a different approach to embedding AutoInsights capabilities. The idea is to survey the range of solutions that are available in a technology segment and to highlight what’s unique about each product. This is not a product comparison or bake-off that evaluates products using identical criteria; rather, it’s a report that focuses on the innovations that are unique to each product. Each sponsor receives a custom version of the report that includes the introduction and their profile only.
